Founders Day Events-Oct 6th
By Jay Eck ‘06

October 6 was a great day for Founders Day.

As you can see from the events below, we hosted a variety of events.

The day started out with a initiation started sharply at 5 p.m at the campus activites center theater.

Formal pledging followed starting around 6 p.m. At the time of this publication, there are over 20 pledges for the fall 2007 class. A number that hasn’t been seen in over five years.

Following formal pledging around 8 p.m. House Corp. had a short meeting with elections in the chapter room.

During and following the House Corp. meeting we grilled hamburgers on the large grill. Condiments, baked beans and additional foods were also served.

As always, signs were played at the fraternity house and those that choose not to play viewed old scrapbooks and chat with actives and the newly pledged members.

Materials that were sold at the 40th will still be for sale at the fraternity house.
